Sisterhood is the ultimate foundation of aKDPhi. This sisterly bond that has brought us together not only helps us to support each other physically, we have also evolved as each other's emotional and mental support. Sisterhood has taught us to be open and honest with one another. It has taught us that it is okay to laugh, cry and act silly in front of 27 other girls because they are not there to judge or reprimand. They are simply there to encourage and celebrate you as an important individual. Sisterhoods are perfect opportunities for us to learn something new about each other and a time for us to share our experiences and thoughts.

E-Day Conference:
Co-hosting E-Day (Estrogen) Day with UC Davis. E-day is a day when sisters from the Norcal get together to tackle topics such as women's issues and empowerment, and of course we can't forget the one thing that binds us all together...Sisterhood.
Sisterhood week:
The first week of February is designated to celebrate the unity that we have all come to embrace.
Back-to-school Retreat:
Before the start of each academic year, we spend a fun-filled weekend together. This year, our retreat was spent camping in Fork, WA.

UW aKDPhi hosted our very own Sisterhood Retreat here in WA & invited aKDPhi sisters nationwide to tour the splendors of Seattle.
