What is it?

Rush is held in the beginning of the quarter, and lasts for a week. We usually rush twice a year, in fall and winter quarter. It's a time for girls who are interested in joining our sorority to come out to meet and get to know the sisters while receiving more information about aKDPhi. Attending these events should be very beneficial for anyone who is interested or curious in understanding what aKDPhi is about. All rush events are laid-back, informative, fun, and free!

Reasons to rush for aKDPhi
1. To enhance networking opportunities.
2. To apply and develop leadership skills.
3. To become more culturally aware.
4. To participate in community service.
5. To allow for personal growth in dealing with a diverse group of women.
6. To make the most of your college career through new experiences you can't receive in any other environment.
7. To create friendships through sisterhood that will last a lifetime.

How do I get the most out of rush?
To make the most out of our rush period, it is important to keep an open mind and to meet as many sisters as you can. This allows you to have a better sense of what you can gain from and contribute to aKDPhi.

We hope to se you at our rush events!! :)
